Easy Open Face Hawaiian Sandwich
Ingredients
4 slices of whole grain bread
6-8 slices of reduced fat ham or smoked turkey 
6-8 slices of mozzarella
1 can of sliced pineapple
Several maraschino cherries
1.      
Place the slices of bread on a pan.  Place two slices next each other so the other
ingredients will cover two breads at a time.
2.      
Place a layer of ham on top of the bread by
slightly overlapping with each piece.
3.      
Place a layer of pineapples with them  also slightly overlapping each other.
4.      
Place a layer of mozzarella cheese.
5.      
Place the sandwiches   in oven and broil for a few minutes in order
to melt the cheese through the holes of the pineapple.
6.      
Remove from oven.  Place a maraschino cherry in each pineapple
hole.
7.      
Return to the oven on broil and allow the cheese
to brown slightly.  Remove when it is at
desired consistency.
